We need a centrepiece, a world-class large facility for exhibitions, music, theatre and sport - like the old Earls Court but modern and green.

Music - from the Berlin Philharmonic to the Who - is so much part of Earls Court history so perhaps a concert hall to act as a hub and draw people in. There is nothing in West London other than the *illegible* Hall which is too big for some purposes.

It would be a wonder if any new public areas could avoid attracting problem drinkers etc
