Overall, do you support our vision to bring the wonder back to Earls Court?

Positive

We want to work with the existing structures on site, rather than demolish them. Do you support that approach?

We want to transform the Train Shed at Lillie Bridge Depot to be a focus for food and makers. Do you support this approach?

Please comment below if you have any ideas for The Train Shed that you would like us to consider.

It would be a good space to have an sport centre or children centre.

The Table (the existing deck structure over the West London Line) will be part of a flexible new green public space at the heart of the site. Please comment below to tell us what you would most like to see in this space.

I would like to see a playground, an splash pool, an ecology educational centre, an space to practice outdoor climbing and a coffee kiosks.

You asked us to develop a world-class cultural offer on the site. We feel we have begun to achieve this by opening up the site with temporary events, varied art installations, greening of the site and other activities we have lined up. Do you agree?

It was great to enjoy it in the last two summers, however the offer in summer 22 was much limited than in 2021.

Please use the space below to let us have any suggestions for new cultural or leisure uses to bring to the site, either now or for the longer term.

Either cultural use for exhibitions or leisure use (ie. Sport centre) would be great

We want to create over 12,000 new jobs on site - What types of jobs or sectors would you most like to see created be most important to you to see created before and during construction, and within the development itself?

Construction, project management, landscaping, apprentices, etc…

We were asked to say more about our approach to building height. What are your thoughts on the approach we have taken so far and particularly the suggested general locations for taller buildings?

I am not clear where you propose the taller buildings and you mean by taller ( how many storeys?)

Do you have any other comments or is there anything specific you would like to hear more about in the next stage of our engagement?

I am not clear about new streets to communicate EC and WestKen. Will there be traffic streets or just pedestrian routes? I am not clear on heights for buildings. Latest developments in London tend to have too tall buildings what creates dark spaces and removes feeling of being in an open space.

A root up to West Kensington.

Yes, one idea for you to consider is in Belfast there is a place called St George's Market which is a very colorful 19th century Market active during the whole week which uses a old train shed very similar to to the one in Earl's Court and which is full of small Traders with fruit and veg. Flowers Fish Fresh Food fashion, crafts, and all sorts of you know small businesses and a food court which is incredibly popular and brings a ton of people to visit, particularly just for those markets. There's live music, all sorts of events taking place there as well, so that's one idea for you to consider. St George's Market in Belfast in Northern Ireland Thank you.

In Holland Park, the open-air Opera that takes place in the summer is very popular, and I think one key reason is that it is a longterm, consistent, arrangement that has built up a loyal following over the years - so whatever cultural/leisure events are planned/considered, I think if it is done with a longterm view in mind will be helpful

We were asked to say more about our approach to building height. What are your thoughts on the approach we have taken so far and particularly the suggested general locations for taller buildings?

Agree with the thinking so far

Hospitality and customer care that is a shining example, that is held up as the level that all businesses should aspire to.
